I took the plunge!

I've had a thing for exotic film cameras, many that are rare and under-appreciated, but take real great images.

However yesterday, I finally gave in and bought a classic, tried and true gem of a camera.
I bought the Rolleiflex 2.8E Planar. Definitely excited.

I'll definitely show it when I get the camera itself. I just bought it on ebay yesterday, as I said.
As for showing images taken with the camera, you don't have to worry about that one bit ;p

Every time I see that red marker in an eBay listing, the price seems a bit high. Sure looks like a beauty though.

How much did you drop for this bad boy?

i paid a hefty amount. i was either going to spend money on an ipad 2, but i opted for this instead laying down $1200 in the process.
it hit my wallet pretty bad, but i figured it was a decent price for something that would outlive my grandchildren.

Yea it seems like an average price. Ive seen em go for 900-1800, so 1200 aint too bad. And if the lens is still in good shape, is worth way more imo!
