I'm starting to wonder about my son - family rant of no real interest.

Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
In April he told me he was doing to be in India for most of May then come back through France and meet his wife and younger daughter for his older daughter's (our granddaughter) graduation from university..
Great, I thought, I'll lend you a simple camera and you can document anything.
So I sent him an EP3 with a 20 1.7 and three memory cards and two batteries and charger.
Yesterday I pick all of them up at the airport; they are here for a short visit.
3 weeks in India, 4 days in Paris, 10 days in Italy and a total of 190 pictures.

I'm asking that he get a DNA test.

Maya relaxing now that she is a college grad.

I think you typed that wrong Lew....
you meant a total of 190 pictures per day right?

Ya but are they 190 great pictures.

Some people are not interested in pix. I mean really not interested. It can't be forced on them.

I like your picture of Maya. :D

Lew this works for me, thinking about my kids. Ed

On Children
Kahlil Gibran

Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them,
but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.

You are the bows from which your children
as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,
and He bends you with His might
that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies,
so He loves also the bow that is stable.

Nice picture, she looks pretty happy!

About 8 rolls of 24 exp., I might have shot a few more than that - but I'm a photographer, if he isn't then that's about a roll a week, not too bad! lol As long as they enjoyed themselves and have some good memories.

I guess I just don't see the problem here. Sounds like he chose to live in the moment instead of recording the moment.

Nice picture of a nice looking granddaughter. Bet she made them proud.

Kids are the best thing one can do.
I have 5, all grown, happy and very successful at life - and they all seem to still like me.

I am thinking about going to India but my time there must be limited to about 20 days and that's a huge country.
I had hoped to go back to Laos but India seems very inviting but sooooo big and diverse.

I'm lucky. I don't have this problem.

:D

Anyway, 190 photos? I would have 190 photos on the card, and probably 4,000 on the laptop... But again, that's me.

So when you get the results, is this going to be on Maury?
