Lovely horse too. I do think that there is too much punch as you said. It looks borderline unnatural. Did you increase the saturation? What else did you do in post?

It is nice and sharp, but the horse's colours look a little over-saturated as noted (too much punch). You should try and remember what its colours were like when you took the picture and then try and reconstruct that "image".

A bit too much punch on the horse, it gives a look like the horse was shot in different light than the rest of the scene. Almost like the horse has a warmer light hitting it and the background has cooler light.
