Increased frames per second with Nikon D70?

Is there any way to increase the frames per second rate for the Nikon D70? I have heard that possibly using the AA battery carriage in the battery grip is one way but I was curious if there is a higher quality battery grip that offers increased FPS. I do have the noise reduction turned off but would love some advice from someone more experienced than I on this subject.

hi, not really.. i've got several of those cameras that the wife and kids use and they are fairly standard and don't change much. it's a good camera, a real workhorse for it's age, be happy wiht it for now and save your money for a newer body or lens instead of buying a new grip

No. Nikon does not make a battery grip for the D70.

Approximately 3 FPS is as good as it gets, even with a grip.

You might try steroids, or camera growth factor. Contact your nearest New York Yankee trainer about having those substances secretly injected into the baseplate of the camera.
