Most are feral. Here, they are called Indian Runner ducks.

Never heard of them to be truthful. Interesting looking specimen.

Mind you, I often have the runs after an Indian 😯😁😁

ADDENDUM


It all has to do with the evolution of birds center of gravity. At
one end the Emperor and at the other the commun chicken.

Penguins bodies are standing straight, upright over their legs
and chickens are more horizontally positioned over them.

Between the two extremes, all birds have their specific place
with different consequences on their "walking" funny style and
abilities.
