Great macros. I do think that there is a little too much dark in some of them, but depending on the fire that sometimes can't be helped lol.

With your next fire, you should try stirring up the coals a bit and shooting a little slower, around 1/30-60 depending on your lens. It can create some really neat looking abstracts.

Most of these are shot at 1/60 or longer already.
I could take my tripod and shoot below 1/30 next time though. Didn't want to go lower now because it's all handheld.
