injured dog in a brackish lake and harbor

the lake in the first shot is from shrimp farming (appalling and not environmentally sustainable, yet the wwf endorses it) anyways, i'll save that story for another day, heres a shot of an injured dog taking advantage of a cool spot around noon in the sam roi ot national park south of hua hin in thailand.

can some one tell me how these look contrast and color wise and if you do be specific . . . i'm on a new computer and am quite unsure about how it will look on other screens.

those look pretty good, i wish it was a little brighter in the second one, it has sort of a muddy feel to it or something, but that kind of helps add to the mood, so maybe its better that way. what lens were you using for these? looks wide
