These are a few photos I have taken in this category & I'm just wondering if there's anything I can do to improve how I take photos like these.

read forum rules... try to keep it to one pic in the critique gallery, they all seem to be lacking in sharpness and contrast, what are you shooting on?

if the insects are in fact the subject, I would suggest getting closer and capturing more detail
