Interested in A Fisheye

I own a canon rebel xt. I'm interested in a fish eye lens. I like the effect it has. I already own a macro. Any suggestions? I'm still a bit of a noob when it comes to branching out into other lenses and techniques.:blushing:

That's a super-wide rectilinear lens. Something like this is a fisheye:

I have the 10-17mm fisheye zoom from tokina. I couldn't be happier with it.

I have the 8mm sigma fish but have been a little disappointed with it, also have the 14mm Canon SW but have not used it a lot yet

Anyone know how the 8mm Sigma compares to a 10.5mm DX Nikon ? At the wide end of things, how much difference would there be between those two focal lengths ?

I know the Nikon opens up to f/2.8, so that's different to the f/4 Sigma right away. On a D70s would the Sigma produce a totally circular image ? I don't think the 10.5 does, but then I'm not necessarily after that anyway.

Also ... how do filters work on those?
