This is just a short video I shot today of my turtles' first day in their new home. They were originally in my pond, but since it has FINALLY gotten warm..at the end of January..they have to come in for the remainder of the cooler days. Besides that, the ducks have pooed up the pond quite a bit. I'm sure they don't like that too much. Anyhow, they're living inside with me until the Spring. So, this was their impression of their new, temporarily barren, aquarium. It's noting too serious, just a quick shoot.
The tank is a 46g bowfront with (1) 96W PC light on top.
Video shot with:
D300s
Nikon 35mm F/1.8G DX
I've had Bertha since she was the size of a nickel. Now, she's about 11" across. The other two, George (who also happens to be a female) and Sam (the frisky one with long fingernails), are quite a bit younger, but I've had them since they were hatchlings as well.
Anyhow, it's a bit of fun. So, enjoy!
