Investing in an Obsolete Camera?

My main camera is the Canon 5D Mkii, other than my collection of film cameras. Since I’m retired and shoot only for my pleasure, am I crazy for wanting a Canon M5? I know it’s a dead mount, but it keeps calling me and I’m trying to convince myself I want it!

Obsolete camera? No such thing.......I shoot with film cameras that are over 100 years old.
