I had this exact picture printed through Simply Color for my Christmas cards. The prints are waayy off color than what I see here. They're totally blue. When I called them, she told me the press cards do have a magenta tone to them. (Wish I would have known that before). Anyway, how are the skin tones here? Bluish?

Oh, and I am calibrated.... may have to fix it though? Thanks!

looks warm to me, not blue at all. Calibrated monitor.

Thank you! I should have them re-do my Christmas cards! You should see how blue/purple they are! UGH!

The skin looks a little, er, smooth to me; but exposure, color looks to be quite good. If you're calibrated, be sure to select 'do not correct' when in the process of uploading the image.

Yes, your white balance is off just a smidge blue -- it is very slight.

Ok, thanks.

Any better? Or too much? I'm printing this in a 16x20 gallery wrap for my living room so I want to make sure my color is good!

Hmm, when you look at it here ^^ (right above) it looks slightly orange but if you click the photo and make it bigger, it looks much better. To me at least.

You're reading textbook skin color now from the children and the sole of the one boy's shoe is a safe bet for a grey point which you now have on target. In the first version the children's skin color was about 10 to 15 points blue which is as I said, a smidge.

Question, when I went to flickr and blew it up to the biggest size, the catch lighting in the baby's eyes went in a line across the middle which was weird to me. Does it look out of place to you? Just a question. I did that because you said your doing 16x20. Maybe it's just me.

It's a great picture, the kids are adorable.

You're absolutely right! There sure is. I will fix that. Glad you noticed before I printed.

Thank you, my kids are too beautiful & I'm not biased at all ;)

LOOKS BEAUTIFUL TO ME!! Nice and warm, but not too warm! Adorable! You should try another online printer. I prefer Mpix.

Reyna, you are welcome. Glad I could help in a small way.

I would second Mpix. I just got home and opened my first order from them. It is my Christmas cards and they turned out really good.

that poor little girl. I can tell she's going to have a life of tormenting! As an older brother myself, I can see it in their eyes.

:)

The edit looks great, you can really see the difference if you click back and forth in flickr.

Hopefully, you re-calibrate your display on a routine basis, like monthly or so, or whenever the ambient light falling on the display changes.
