Crispy!

Like it.

Do a sound check by speaking into it. Check the reaction of the bystanders. If there is none, then you need to speak louder. Once everyone is looking at you, you know the sound is fine.

Is that with the D90? Looks like you're managing it quite well. I love the concept here, and the colors are nice. I do wish that the very front petals were a little more in focus, and even more than that, I wish there was more room to the left and above the flower and less tho the right and below it. The way the flower is leaning right to left, and especially with the "microphone" analogy, I'd just like to see a little more room for it to "lean" into..or for someone to step up to the mic! :D
IMO...that and a ridiculous amount of money will get you a totally over-rated cup of coffee at Starbucks.

Not enough light to get the dof I waned to get, hence the oof petals...had to open her up pretty wide as it was almost night. I was going to frame it a little looser, but there was an ugly bike/walking path above it and some other crap to the left, both of which, even when blurred, were distraction, so I just went with a tighter crop.

Yup, that was with the D90. Muscle memory is starting to come into play, and my fingers are going to the right places, now and then I have to pull it away from my face to check and hit the right button I mean to, lol.
