Issues going to the first unread post

Is anyone else having this problem? Any method I choose to jump to the first unread post in a thread exhibits the same behavior - first it loads the first page of the thread, then it thinks for a while, and takes me to the page of the thread that the first unread post is on, but it does not take me to the actual post. The delay between when the first page loads and when the "first unread page" loads is extremely long for extremely long threads (such as the Shadows theme t hread, Strobist setup thread, and the Girls of TPF thread).

I'm glad the "like" button has been wrangled back in to place, but this problem is extremely frustrating for me.

I'm using Chrome btw.

You are not alone.....

On a subscribed thread when I click on the arrow/go to first unread post I am taken to post #1.

And the page stays there.

IE9, Windows 7

Same here, in any brower I try, same on desktop, laptop, tablet and phone. Same thing with almost all email notifications (though weirdly, some actually take me to the latest post).
