"Only warming"... oh dear! It so LOOKS like it was taken during a performance, what with the black background (depths of a stage), the light (almost spotlight) ... if it is only warming-up, where's the barre, the mirror, the others, the overall headlights?

Must show it to my daughter again, she is such a fan of your ballet photos, only is she still in bed, sleeping the Sunday morning away... - so is everyone else of the family, mind - just not me. I am already "warming up" .

It was a ballet gala in Stuttgart. And before performance all participants had about 15-20 minutes for proving a stage size. At the same moment it was adjusting for lights. I had luck and caught this moment. Usually it's impossible to take pictures from this position during performance without public disturbs.

Wonderful photo .... I am usually not a ballet follower but this is great .....

The lighting alone must have been a nightmare but you have cought this perfectly.
