Taken on my last trip to Banff before moving out to Sudbury.

Would I recognize any of the mountains if the clouds weren't there? I am often in Banff as I live about an hour east of it, so I might recognize some of them if I knew where this image was taken. My only comment is that it is a lttle dark. I would try and lighten it up to show some of the foreground and maybe a little less intensity in the clouds.

To my mind, this one's cropped too close, it would need to retain some more ground, as "anchor" for the sky to cling to, and a tad more sky, not necessarily much, but some. And it is a bit too dark, agreed. Though the weather that IS coming is grey and dark, we agree on that, too. Nevertheless...

Done! It's on the way to Banff just before the turn off. This rendition will probably help you recognize the place.

I knew that could be a bit of an issue. The problem is that if I loosen the crop lower I have to include much of the road that is below. I've adjusted the photo with your comments in mind. Let me know if you think this works better. I personally prefer the tighter crop and yes adding some more of the clouds helped.
