The place lies amidst the commercial district of new delhi.. it was built in 1724 and used an an astronomical observatory for many many years. The various abstract structures within the 'Jantar Mantar' are, in fact, instruments that were used for keeping track of celestial bodies.

nice shots, what a challenging place to photo, looks like fun. I love the lines in the first two. Like the B&W better of the last two.

I googled this place and it really looks amazing. I would love to make it there some day to shoot. :mrgreen:
No 2 is my fave for it's variety of geometric pattern and shape. The other 3 are close seconds! Nice job on the DOF and they are good compos. as well.

REALLY love those first two shots.

I have a unhealthy obsessions with architectural patterns and shiz.

Would love to shoot there one day.
