#1 I assume it is partially behind something that is the same color as the "Floor", but this really screws up the image, looks like a computer glitch sliced the pix .

#2 is good - get the feeling of motion, he is coming out to get me! Image might be a tad harsh (contrasty) for the critter.

yep.. #1 was hiding. That is corner trim on the wood siding of my condo.. little guy would just peek out, and then pull back in.. and then peek out again! It was almost funny.....

#2... I was getting some shots of him.. when he jumped right out of the screen. When I found him an inch or so over.. he had caught the bug you see him holding. Kind of hard to really see it well in this small pic.. but at full screen size, it is a really neat shot. You can see it better in my TPF Gallery ... if you want to check it out... which lens did you use to capture that image?

I used the Tokina 100mm 2.8 Macro... love the lens, very sharp, easy to work with...

I have the 85mm micro from nikon, it's a great lens, i'm looking for the next small step, I love to photograph my reef tank, I think a 100 or 105mm would be better for my shooting.
