Second one could have been moved up a bit to include the whole flower. I like the first one! Good job.

For one the rose in #1 is a very beautiful flower, and you also captured it really well! But your PSwork to blur the background further is too apparent. (Unless this is a scanned print and the flickering line all around the petals is an effect brought about by both the scanning process and compression).

As to the second: I share EB's being sorry about not having included the whole flower.

both photos were taken with digital camera and then edited in Macromedia Fierworks using filter “Sharpen” and I did it twice on each picture. Maybe it was too mach. Thank you for criticism.
