Finally got him with his crest up this evening.

Very nice! I think this is the first shot of one on the ground I have seen.

This one is a tyrant. He feeds on the ground on the sunflower seeds I put out for the chipmunks. The female comes too but this guy loves to look in the windows to see me and then fly at the windows or at my head when I go out to get my attention "hey food dude, I'm out here, more nom nom" !!!!
