Just ordered my 1st beauty dish

Ordered an Elincrom 27 incher. Hopefully the wind won't blow it away like my umbrellas and Dorothy in Wizard of Oz. Although I'll still sandbag it.

Also ordered the Elinchrom 27" DIFFUSER f/MAXISOFT REFLECTOR - ELDR27 with it too, hope it softens it up a bit. Comes with different color defectors.

Now between my professor and you all (especially Mishele's coddle critiques heh) I hope I can learn to use it effectively anyway

Yes sir, not cheap but WOW at the BHPHOTO student discount program!

The light source will be me "pennies on the dollar" sweet ebay light I purchased not long ago, It will be powered in the field by a Lithium sine wave converter. Silly pic i shot of it:
