should be here Tuesday from Amazon..........God I hope after all my due diligence on this I made the right choice.

Also watch this........... over and over, if you have to. I watched it many times, until the info finally started to sink in.
Nikon | Imaging Products | Digitutor | D7000
It will teach you the settings and buttons on the camera, and what they're used for.
I love my D7000, and I bet you'll love your's too.
Good luck! :)

Excellent choice! This camera has the highest value considering its price.

Congrats! You are going to LOVE it

I spent many an hour deciding if I wanted to go with a d7000 or not. In the end I opted for the slightly cheaper D90 and spent the extra on a few more accessories. By time I am ready to upgrade, the 7100 will probably be the next hot thing.

Congrats on the D90. The D7000 is "fairly" new, doubtful we will see an upgrade to this one soon.

Well the D90 was the top mid-level camera for a long time, the D7000 is essentially an upgraded D90. So I second this statement.

Good choice for sure. Enjoy

The D7000 has gotten fairly good reviews from what I can tell......definately a good choice.

The only real negatives were the back focusing issues from what I read

Ya i wont lie, this sorta scared me as well. It is disheartening when you Google an issue...and there are pages and pages of people with the same issue. I know you will get defects and bad apples once in a while, but this almost seemed a design defect that was carried over from its predecessor.

Of course people said if you own an Xbox 360 you will get the infamous 'Red Ring of Death" because it was a huge design flaw...but in 3 years I have had no issues with mine, so you can not always trust the crowed.

I ordered the same one from Amazon few weeks ago, and I love this camera!
