I'm almost embarrassed to be posting these.

Just trying to ID some of the plants growing around my property.

Self critique, framing is terrible, I wish I didn't lop the top of his head. Focus is soft on his eyes.

Comments, critique welcome.

you shouldn't be embarrassed by these, as they are not even in the vicinity of being bad.

#1 looks great, minimal clutter, good lighting, good sharpness, good color

#2 it's good you release it's faults, but nonetheless it's a good picture that is capturing an interesting moment

My 3 year old is better with technology than I am

These are not bad shots at all!

#1 - Good lighting and color.
#2 - I love candid shots like these.

Keep it up!

Well thanks! I'm pretty hard on myself, I should be much better than I am at this point. I haven't taken photography seriously in years though so I'm rusty.

I'm not a big fan of plants :meh: but I LOVED the second one! Its sooooo cute!

I was going to tell you to not be so hard on yourself, but I guess you're just being really efficient with the learning process (being the student and the teacher)!
#1 The color is delicious
#2 I like how the iPad (I'm assuming) is lighting his face just a tad
just wondering, have you done any outdoor color shots of your son?

Nothing recently worth posting. I probably have some older ones. He's been hating having his picture taken for the past year. He yells at me and cries

Nice camera for sure. I have seen much worse for 1st pictures posted. Myself included.

Nice series of photos! You really have the talent, my dear! :) Can you just post more pictures, please? I love it all! :)
