What were you trying to capture in the first picture? The bug? (is that a bug?) Or the grass? I guess I'm a little confused there.

For the second picture, the color is very nice and the flower is pretty. The leaf on the right side is a little distracting - I think you could do a little cropping to better the picture.

The first one, as stated, is hard to tell what you were trying to focus on. The second one is nice, but you should really follow the "rule of thirds" on this one, it would make for a really, really nice shot. If you cropped one side of the image, it would make it much more pleasing.
