I love the colors of the first one, and i think it was a good use of shadows in the second one.

I love the first one - gorgeous colors.

The ear shadow across his head distracts me on the second one, though that's pretty picky. I'd like to see more of his face - even one fully lit eye would be nice and also you cut off the paws. He's a beautiful cat!

Mindchatter > instead of putting the links in the post you can actually put the photos in there, makes it easier for everyone.

If you select where it says "all sizes" on flickr, down below it will give you the URL of the photo. Then, while your making your post, if you select the insert image button and paste the flickr URL it will embed the image in the post.

#1 is well composed and well exposed, but the color is slightly over-the-edge. Maybe too much post saturation in the blues.

#2 is a wall hanger. Very dramatic use of light ratio.
