Yes ladies and gentlemen, here it is in all its glory. The infamous White Ibis.
Perhaps the worlds most ugly bird. It is related to a Stork in some manner, but, we can see here that this one is neither delivering a baby, nor giving birth to one.
This was inspired by Kirks now famous image of a pelican taking a squat. Ever since that glorious day it became a mission to capture a similar image.
Without further ado, I proudly present the image I have titled " Bird Doo Doo."

I was shooting between trees and foliage. I think that messed the metering up.

Nice pic. It appears to be a little dark ... not talking about the dark spot that you've already explained but the sky appears to be too dark a blue. Was it real bright? Were you trying to keep the whites/light toned down?
