Keys...piano keys

Really nice shot. The ivories look just a bit too red. Id fix that even if they were actually that red but Im thinking they should be more a yellowish color. I like the fade into black. Well done. You have really come along nicely.

The negative dark space in the upper left frame is a bit overwhelming to me. I'm assuming it was used to get rid of distractions.

The vignette or whatever it is actually encroaching on the keys a bit.

I like the textures and it's an interesting angle, the processing misses for me.

Yes the black on top was to wash out my TV in the living room and all the wires behind it. I want this piano out of the house but my mother in law passed away years ago and left it to my wife and daughter. This thing is old and although it still plays I think it does not go with our decor. But, you have to make compromises when you are married and this is a battle I do not wish to fight out of respect.

I know we both have different styles and methods when it comes to processing ;)

More better!!!

Thanks!

I like the first shot best. The keys are the color that seems more natural to me. I also darkened the bottom right corner to match the darkness of the top left and also to cover up the out of focus area in the foreground of the piano. If this were my piano Id sure hang this picture up. Then Id get rid of the piano and keep the picture as a reminder.
