Kid's birthday party

I'm going to be shooting at my daughter's third birthday party this weekend and it's going to be in the middle of the day (11-2 ish) when lighting conditions will be the harshest. Will a polarizing filter help with the glare and reflection or am I wasting my time?

I know I'll be using the built in flash as fill light and trying to get as many shots in the shade as I can but I also want to capture as much as I can.

I say....get the filter. If you try it this weekend and find they improve your shots, great!

If not, you will still have a use for it later on. You can always use this filter.
