I really like the lighting (evening or morning?) and the low angle that you go with these - as well as the very empty forground in a situation where it could have easily filled up.
My only Crit is that they look a little soft -- at this size of shot a small unsharpen could solve it, were they that soft from full size?

The only PP I did was cropping them. I shot them with a Canon 70-300 f/4.-5.6 IS USM at 300mm wide open so they are a bit soft. Not my favorite lens by far but it was what was on the camera at the time but it works well for creeping up at ground level.

Ahh well if they were only cropped a little unsharpen masking might bring them into full sharpness
And yes - creeping up without them noticing is a tricky thing indeed
