I'm sure they don't really kill people. This is my first little bit of nature photography.

they're geese.

watch out for poop.

Geese!

We got a huge rain storm and the water was raging over the waterfall in town so I went there to take pictures and there was a TON of ducks, and one goose. Well I tried to take a picture of it and it started charging me 0.o

But back to your photo, it's gorgeous. I love geese and the detail on the feathers is great.

We call 'em Canadian Honkers, and yes - they are geese. Although yours look like they might have a funny accent. :D

two headed killer goose at the front.

Oh geese!

I felt a humorous movement in my stomach, but I managed to control it. Don't want to waste those on such dry jokes

That one in the back left wants to eat you.

I think you're right!!! :lmao:

But I would like to see all the life forms in focus, I think. I like the composition, except for the background. But it's all taste, I guess, when it comes to backgrounds. Well, not all taste, of course, but often :)

Yeh I've mainly been playing with Shutter P mode, so I need to put some more thought into the f-stops I'm using and what kind of focus I want the image to be in.

I was able to get quite close....they're pretty relaxed.

I like it. I like the background, the buildings fit the dull weather. The birds are beautiful.

Thanks! It's been 5 days since I've had my camera and only now is the weather starting to get a bit nicer! I hope to start capturing some sharp outdoors images.

They are Canada Geese - not Canadian geese. Canadian geese winter in Florida or Arizona, not London, England.

I dunno...their accent was distinctly Canadian.
