Kitty Kat Got a Bath :D

My roommate bathed our two little kitties for the first time evar today. One of them is exactly like a little child: whining with creepy humanlike inflections in its tone, and clinging to him like they were being tortured.

I generally hate cats... but they can be so adorable. :heart:

(I know the processing is a little harsh but I tried to correct the harsh tungsten-ish light from the bathroom. It took me forever to get everything to not be yellow/red)

I hope he doesn't intend to do this often. They really don't need it unless they dive into a puddle of mud. They're VERY good at cleaning themselves and the poor things generally REALLY don't like water.

Well, except my loopy Maine Coons.

Wow that takes balls! I sure as hell would not carry my cat shirtless into a shower. He would claw the hell out of me.

Nah it was just a once in a blue moon type deal to try and get aome of the loosw hair off of him as well as make him smell spiffy. It was also kind of punishment/payback because the kitty keeps getting in the trash, mwahaha.

That's a relaxed cat! My two would be dug in (to my shoulder, arms, whatever) if I tried to get them into water. I love #4 and #5.

I have a "shaker can" that I use to keep out cats off of tables and out of things they shouldn't be in - I put some loose change into an empty 100' film canister, and a bit of tape around the middle to keep it together. It's loud enough to get their attention and seems to work after a couple of shakes.
