Group,

I currently own a Kodak Z812IS ( 8.1 Megapixel with a 12x optical zoom ) and I'm interested in purchasing a lens for it.. I had plans to buy the following lens..

We received a call today and they said they were currently out of the adapter ( second link ) so they offered to sell us this following lens..

Now, I can still get the first lens, but I won't get it until March 11th.. Any ideas on which lens would be better for shooting trains that are far away? The second lens seems to be a bit higher in price, but it also has a larger zoom ( 2.0x compared to the 1.4x ).. Which would you choose?
Thanks,
Chase

I would suggest you only buy the adapter then look on ebay for 55mm screw on telephoto lenses. You will be able to find them for a third the price

Group, I ordered the Digital Concepts 2.0x telephoto lens attachment and it arrived on Wednesday and I tried shooting some trains today, but I had some blurry edges and when I used the entire zoom including the 12x and the attachment the photos came out blurry and out of focus.. I already have a 12x optical camera, maybe I have too much zoom causing distortion? Could this be possible? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Chase
