This is actually not a HDR image. Its 3 images of different exposures manually Blended together. No Photomatix needed this time.

This is my first image I done with this new technique.

What I like about manual blending, is the superior smoothness and texture that can be done with that technique. This is a great example.

Yeah nice pic. Seems a little over saturated and the Halos are an issue. Nice composition, really interesting.

You obviously executed it well, but it looks like HDR to me, and since it is three blended exposures, I consider it HDR. I am just not a fan of what happens to the colors. When I see this the first thing I think is "there is no way that is how that scene looked". But I do like the tones and think it would make a nice BW.

Cool glad you found this and applied it to your work flow. This is what I have been doing for a long time. Remember I always told you to learn how to use layer masking and how much more you could do....Great!
