I don't want to hijack the OP's topic, but I think it's important to point out that the photo opportunities ANYWHERE are incredible. LA is no more photogenic than New Jersey or Atlanta or Podunk Junction, Tennessee. The only reason we think that photo opportunities elsewhere are so much better is because we are so close to the things we see everyday that we don't REALLY see them.

Thanks, yeah LA is a great place for photography, once you scratch the surface and avoid the obvious places.

Youre right but the weather, palm trees, ocean views, dunes and the culture is very different from NJ. I have an obsession with CA so when I see pics there it makes me wanna go even worse. I understand great photos can be taken anywhere, but CA is where I really want to spend some time shooting.
