A mother doe with her last year's offspring. The younger (offspring - on the left) is the same deer with the broken but healed ankle. She always can be found hanging around her mother most of the time. I once had a preacher tell me that animals have personalities just like humans. (contrary to what behavioral science says - that they are dumb anmals) After watching how our resident deers act, react, and behave around each other I believe that they do possess "traits" that are more than merely instincts.
