Laguna de Sonso Aug 2018

This is a lake in Colombia which I visited in August with @Donde to see birds and insects. Here are the insect and spider shots (the bird ones I have not got to yet).

First time I have seen a ant mimicing spider, two shots to show its details and the first with a real ant. Surprisingly I saw it a week later in the Amazon, a long distance from where I wsa but IIRC did not photograph it

Thank, I am very glad that you gave me a lift so I could get to see so many great birds and insects! The bird shots I am still working through, I have quite a lot to sort out from my 3 weeks in Colombia.
