Numbering and separating your images is helpful to those you wish to provide critique.

The fisheye images do nothing for me. I think it's the content that doesn't work with that "look".

They are all rather gray and flat to me.

Of these I appreciate the sixth image.

So how do I fix the flat grey problem?

I don't know what all Elements offers, but I am sure it has a brightness/contrast slider.

I'm trying to figure out this Elements 8, but what do you think of this one compared to the original? I tried to burn in the blown out areas, but it's a pain. I tried using layers, but I'm not doing something right.
