Landscapes while camping

Went camping with some friends last weekend. It was my first time camping in 15 years so I figured why not try some landscape photography.

Any advice on how to improve is appreciated.

Did you capture a UFO in the night shot?

Looks like 3 solid photo's to me

I think it was either a plane or a satellite. It was pretty cool to finally catch something like that in a photo.

Number 3 is very effective but I would have taken those 3 pieces of camper stuff out of the foreground.

I wouldn't have thought about that until you mentioned it. Composition, it's what's for supper! Great shot, though. All warm and fuzzy on a summer night at the lake!

Thanks for the advice! This was first time taking night shots so I got a little too wrapped up in camera settings rather than looking at what was in frame.

I like 3, but I agree that the cooler etc. needs to be cloned out.
