Where can I get my Canon RF fixed? The shutter is sticking often. You can work it over and over at speeds faster than 1/100 until it comes loose. Shoot with it and shutter will remain good.

Oh, that goes back during my Conservatory years. I was just off a Music Theory class and I saw what I thought to be a colleague of mine talking on a pay phone, facing away. I assumed it was my colleague and friend and I went over and slapped him over the posterior with a briefcase, shouting something like "Enough calls to your girlfriends, pal!". He turned around and I froze with embarassment, it was a violin teacher who just resembled my friend from the back. Of course he laughed and I was very, very embarassed!

Most embarrassing moment?

An equally embarrassing moment happened in Stow, MA, where I was invited at some friends' house to play some chamber music. I sat down and played an entire piece (four movements) and as I was approaching the end of the last movement I looked down for no apparent reason. I froze! My fly was unzipped!!! I can't tell you the color changes that I went through that moment.:er:

I do that all the time, even when I wanna play in straight 4/4! :lmao: :lmao:

No, seriously, I play a lot in those time signatures. The weird ones being most likely from Stravinsky, who has even a 1/16 TS. Charles Ives does the other thing, half of the orch. plays in one TS, the other one in a different one.

What brand of violin do you have and can I have it ?

First, you can't have it or afford it. It's a Gaetano Chiocchi (Italian) from around 1880.

What made you get into photography?

An old friend of mine from Boston. He started collecting cameras and shooting LF and MF. He got me interested in both, collecting and shooting.

I would love to own a business of sorts, something like a Jeep Touring Company here in AZ, geared towards photographers.
