Thanks for your comments, everyone. I don't know how the canoe got in such rough shape; most of the other canoes/kayaks in that state park were in pretty good condition. I like it as a scene, with the damaged canoe sort of looking out into the darkening lake. A detail shot of the canoe surface would be interesting too, but that's just not what grabbed me at the moment, and obviously the light was changing fast. I will consider a b&w conversion - might be something there.
