Hi, digicam and monopod used - late afternoon sun at a pond not far from where I live, wondering if selective DOF and composition works? Thanks

Hi William,
It's certainly an intriguing and quite beautiful shot but personally I
would have liked to see more of seed head (definitely the top) and probably some relationship to its background, at present the background seems meaningless.
Sorry to be so negative and you know what they say about opinions and armpits.
Neat colors and great subject matter though!
