Your image is quite interesting it reminds me of a question mark! the critique is going to be on your french skills !
Your title should read l'aigrette bleu.
It is really a beautiful capture! love the teal background contrasting with the yellow beak!

If I had wanted more body, I would have shot more body...I wanted a head shot. I got one. :wink:

Yes but still there is a whole set of grammar rules here that you don't want to know about that makes Le egret bleu incorrect.
I would gladly trade french lessons for photography lessons. Lol!

Sure, but I think we live too far away to make that very practical. Anything you think I know about photography, you don't know, want to know, or think you might want to know, I never have issues with assisting where I can. What's the point of hoarding knowledge?

For instance in this shot, I hated the colors in the original shot, so I made a simple replace color edit, did a bit of dinking with the clone tool, and knocked down a lot of the yellow cast caused by the reflection of the BG material. See:
