So sorry to hear about the financial hardship! These cameras are hard to find in such condition. It will be very hard to sell here, there are just a few Leica shooters and collectors. However, you might want to contact LHSA (Leica Historical Society of America) and a few other Leicaphile groups. Price is right on, hopefully you'll be able to sell it to someone who appreciates it.

I forgot... You might also need to mention if it's the Midland version or the Wetzlar version. The Midland, being rarer will command the price you asked, the Wetzlar will be lower by a bit.

Hi all,

Thanks for the tips!. LHSA has a $75 membership fee, tough for me to post there.
I will try rangefinderforum.com and see what happens there.
BTW, there's a label on the box that states component parts made in Germany
camera assembled in Canada by Ernst Leitz Canada,LTD, Midland, Ontario.

I wish you lots of luck... Leica is a niche market and can be difficult to locate a proper venue to sell... especially a collector item like yours. Theyy do hold value thouugh...

If you get desperate I can highly recommend my local dealer that I do much business through. They are pretty good with consignment Leica peices and have a pretty good customer base.

Bergen County Camera. Ask for Paul or Rob. Both are Leica fanatics... Paul is their used equipment expert.

Note... you will want to try and sell yourself because consignment means they take a cut of the final sold price. But its an option
