Lens Japanese Seller eBay: any feedback from Canadians?

Thanks cgw, based on this, I think I got a good/fair price on GH3 (from here-Canada) and the lens (from Japan).

Check on their reviews if only a few stay away.

I'd only stay away from sellers with few reviews if they don't have a 100% positive feedback – new sellers have to start somewhere That being said, for established eBay sellers it's reasonable to expect less than 100% positive feedback – and if you read their few negative ratings, it's usually the buyer who's the problem. I've only had positive experiences buying and selling on eBay – I've just been very careful who I've dealt with.

Second, when I asked about estimated duty fees and the like for their Canada customers, they didn't say exact amount but they said we'll write off the value of the lens is "$98" so I don't have to pay lots at all! (That's fishy in my book).

As fishy as that sounds, this "service" of undervaluing items for customs purposes exists because buyers request it

Regarding undervaluing by that seller, yes I guess if people didn't ask him about it, he won't have suggested it because I certainly didn't ask and don't like this practice.

Now I am waiting and will soon know how much are these original duty fees.

I don't see any shakiness on my end.

Step outside and try some videos of the traffic going by. Be sure to use a tripod, though. Not using one is what ALL video rookies do, and their shakey movies prove it!

The lens arrived today! The lens arrives relatively fast given there was a weekend in between: ordering (Wednesday March 6), shipping (Thursday March 7) and receiving today (Wednesday March 13). Packaging was excellent. As far as I know I was not charged anything extra. The one who delivered it is the mailwoman. So far looks there is no shakiness; I'll poste separately if there are problems. Thanks all for posting here.
