I actually like that rose, it's very surreal and lovely. My main nitpick is that it is a mite cut off at the bottom. With such a deliberately soft image, for me it's important to get the whole subject in there. Same thing for the second one. I really love the bouncy colors in the third shot - it's very pretty, and lots of fun. Still, the first one of the rose has the most appeal - just my two cents.

The first one had the most potential for me, but you have such a separation from your subject and backround. Not sure where that halo is coming from either. A Lens baby should give you a really seamless flow and cohesive flow. I am not seeing that with these.
Thanks a lot for all your feedback. Attached is the original picture of #1. As I felt it's a bit lame, I added some post processing, i.e. some color and grain.
Although I feel #2 is the more impressive on first sight I believe #1 has more to it. What would you see as a suitable post processing?
