Lensbaby. Gimmick? Or get it?

I was just given a link to lensbaby by a friend of mine, and was pretty intrigued with the whole thing. It looks like ALOT of fun to use and experiment with etc. But after thinking about it, I just wondered, is it something that truly enhances photographs or is it more of a gimmick? Kind of like the things you see on an info mercial... awesome idea, they make you think you gotta have the product.. you get it home and use it once and it collects cobwebs.

Anyways, I am very interested in the idea of a lensbaby, and just wondering if there are any lensbaby owners out there who could share their experience/opinion with me? Thanks so much!

Um... TPF actually has a lensbaby section on here (not sure if you've seen it). Take a look and decide if you like what you see, it all depends on your vision of photography I guess.
