What is it?

It's a wildflower that grows here. Some people call them Touch-Me-Nots and others call them jewelweed. They have these seedpods that wriggle and burst open in your hand ( from the heat, I suppose? ) and feel just like something alive. The light was hitting the back of it and looked like an opening from within a cave to me.

Well, that explains it, it's very interesting.

Lovely colour but the dof is just too shallow on this for my liking. I was finding I was searching for the focal point. What aperture did you use?
