Limpkin In the River

I spotted this limpkin looking for mussels and I managed to sneak up on him for a better shot. I couldn't avoid the branches in front.

Nice shot! Have you tried to crop out the branches on the left, making it more of a portait orientation, and seeing what that looks like? I'm usually limpkin around the gym looking for muscles... I had a six pack once, but now it's more of a pony keg...

Thanks, Jeff. I didn't do that because the one branch would still be in front of the limpkin which to me would be a bit of an eye sore in a portrait. lol on the 'limpkin around the gym' comment, I'm the same way, with T2D, and I just went on a no carb (or very little carbs) diet to rid myself of my pony keg. We'll see how that goes. 🤞

I'm pre-T2D, and trying to do without carbs, but failing at that...

Just cutting back on them can help, been awhile back I replaced chips with peanuts/nuts and crunchy veggies and it helped. I was @ 214 but I've hit a wall @ 187 lbs. To lose more weight I've replaced bananas and oatmeal raisin cookies for breakfast with steak & eggs. Protein vs sugar. I'm hoping that does the trick.

Yep., I'm stuck at 180ish, and I hear you on replacing the sugary stuff with proteins. Eggs and veggie sausage or cubed steak, which is fairly inexpensive.
