Line between...

On my last hike I had some interesting moments.

Would love to see a version without the contrail.
THAT would be a better shot - IMHO.

Meh. Not doing it for me. What's the connection? It feels forced - like something that looks cool at first glance and then doesn't maintain the visual interest over time.

Maybe the image look cleaner without that line...
I'm kind of attracted by symmetry and without that line this image may not be created, I would continue to go on.
Looking up, I saw the divide between the two worlds, good and evil, black and white.


So I pays tribute to the white line by not removing it.

The contrail is what makes this image stand out from being just a plain, normal "lonesome-tree-in-the-distance"-shot imho. I really like it, it comes across as quite striking to me. I love how the clouds fade in from the left, while there's slightly more trees visible in the bottom right corner - it just feels very balanced. Nice shot.
