Linking Photos from smugmug

Does anyone know why my photos appear soft after linking them from my smugmug? Or is it just on my end? They appear sharp on my actual site, but the linked version on the forum doesn't

You uploaded/attached that shot directly from your computer, so we can't use it to judge.

Use IMG tags and link us to one on your SmugMug account.

I accidentally attached the file, although the top image was linked directly from smugmug using their forum coding. I deleted the attached to make it less confusing.

be sure you're linking the size you want to share. the smaller the size, the less detail is evident in the picture. you can access different sizes by looking for the little size icon at the bottom right of the photo in the smugmug album then right click, copy link or embed link in the webpage.

for what it's worth, the picture you're seeing that's embedded seems consistent with a medium size/quality image, but there may be some resampling on smugmug's end when it loads an image referenced from another site.
